CONSTRUCTION NOTICE -Hillsdale Ave. East at Yonge – Monday October 2, 2017

Dear Residents,

We wish to notify area residents of sewer work that will take place along Hillsdale Ave. East at Yonge St. commencing Monday October 2, 2017. Work is anticipated to be completed by Friday October 6,

2017 subject to weather. This work will be performed by OJCR under contract with city. Work will take place during normal work week‐day hours. During this time, a portion of the roadway (north portion from mid‐point of road) along Hillsdale Ave. East and the sidewalk along the north side of Hillsdale Ave. East running the length of our construction site from Yonge St. will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians respectively.

Construction crews will use cones and traffic control during these closures. A flagman will be present during these times. Once this work is completed, similar work will take place along Soudan Ave. during the weekend after the long weekend. We will advise once we are notified by city.

We apologize for the short notice in issuing this construction notice.

Tragic traffic accident at Yonge Street and Erskine Avenue on September 10, 2019

On Tuesday September 10, 2019 a traffic accident involving a cement truck claimed the life of a 54 year old woman who was crossing the street at Yonge Street and Erksine Avenue in Toronto.
